"Great Ethiopian restaurant. eat so fresh and tasteful. we loved the atmosphere and owners who served us very friendly and knowledgeable. everything we ate was so delicious and I would definitely recommend going here if they are in the inner city of toronto. great location. very central. they can also have vegetarian options and meat. we shared a plate with both. so delicious and funny!"

"I have been to Selam Restaurant many times.what attracted me is their cleanness ,well prepared traditional food and most of all hospitality. "I had the great pleasure of having my first Ethiopian food experience at this wonderful restaurant.The food was tremendous, the atmosphere was intimate, and the espresso was absolutely delicious. If your in the mood for something different yet a little bit familiar, looks delicious but tastes even better, then I definitely recommend the African Palace."

"We ordered a vegetarian platter to share, then had the coffee and popcorn. The injera was not my favourite, because it tasted very fermented, almost too much for my taste. It was a bit too sour for me. The platter was okay.. I've had better...injera at another Ethiopian restaurant. I would have preferred something else at the centre of the platter, other than a salad. Our favourite was actually the popcorn and the coffee. The popcorn was just really delicious and seasoned well. It was a bit salty, but sweet and also very light. The service was great and it did not take long for our food to arrive. I love the seating area near the front of the restaurant. It's very comfy and you will also find some beautiful artwork on the walls."
