"Lots of variety on the menu, but the pasta is overpriced and underwhelming. The service was very disappointing. Server did nothing more than refill our water glasses every 5 minutes, and couldn’t answer basic questions about the menu. So many good Italian places in the...area, so no need to put up with mediocrity."

"So we booked this place mainly because it was near where we were going and had availability on Opentable. I was a bit nervous because we're fussy and some of the reviews stated that the food wasn't as good as the wine. Wrong! The food...was excellent. We go the scallop crudo, beef sliders, gnocchi and octopus every dish was excellent. I'm not normally a fan of beef sliders a bit boring for me, but these ones...out of this world. So tender and just excellent. I'll definitely go back for that. The service was also flawless. Perfect balance. There was never a time where I was looking to flag someone down, but not overbearing. And very friendly (but not overly so). I liked that when I asked for a sauvignon blanc, the first suggestion from the waitress was actually the cheapest on the menu. I don't care mush about price, but out of principle, it irritates me when I ask for a suggestion and a waiter's go-to, conveniently,is the most expensive on the menu. Also, the place is cute and has a great vibe. All in all, I was so pleased will definitely be back."

"Monday evening and the place was empty. No one was being overworked. Our server disappeared, and we were left hailing any warm body we could find to try to get fed.The cheese plate consisted of hardened rind from old parmesan.The clam pasta was a combination of over cooked clams (along with many closed clams) on dry pasta without sauce. The lamb ragout was a few chunks of old lamb without a hint of ragout.It seemed as though both kitchen and wait staff had checked out earlier in the day."

"My wife and I opened the door to go into the restaurant 9:15 on Saturday January 25, 2020, and were told before we stepped into the restaurant that it was closed. When I googled the restaurant it said it was open till 10:30 We had driven across the city from DVP and Lawrence 20 km to try Lambretta pizza. Needless to say we will not waste our time to go back."

"I'm always wanting to try new small mom and pop shops that start up in Toronto and really wanted to like Sfizio but time and time again it just misses the mark. It has a lot of potential with big businesses in the area but it is usually empty during lunch time and/or after work. Which shouldn't be the case seeing how the pubs in the area are always packed.The menu is a bit boring. Nothing really jumps out or is it exciting. You would think that with the wood burning oven that people would be lining up to get in with the smell of the wood burning but no. The pizza is just okay. The sauce doesn't taste homemade and at times you can taste the aluminum from the can that the sauce came from. The veggie pasta that I ordered was drenched in olive oil and the veggies, although grilled well, lacked any flavour.It feels that the owners have given up as the service is lacking which then is shown in the food. There is no passion in the restaurant at all. It seems as if the staff are just waiting for closing time."
