"I was a customer of Lonnie Q's for the first time on July 3rd (took the plunge based on word of mouth). I picked up 15 lbs of pulled pork I had pre-ordered for a family party. It was packaged neatly and securely. Lon took time to be courteous and friendly, showing me the best way to warm the meat to serve to my guests. He spent time with me at the counter and encouraged me to taste test the other options of meats and sides since I'd never been there before. The turkey was wonderful!God blessed those cheesy potatoes! Earlier this week, he called and left a voicemail that he was just wanting to make sure everyone enjoyed it. I recommend this place highly! Such kindness and wonderful customer service, right along with fantastic BBQ!"

"Never would have found this without local hotel staff recommendations but SO glad we asked! It’s a combo sit down restaurant and deli. Burnt ends were great! Brisket was good.very filling. Great assortment of BBQ sauces which can be purchased."

"HHB BBQ is everything BBQ should be. I recommend the brisket, but no matter what you get there, you can't go wrong because their BBQ sauce is divine. We also received recommendations from staff who were helpful."

"We were in Kansas (September 2021 for a family wedding in the Topeka area and found this place on the Internet. Our food was SO good! The meat was great, particularly because of their awesome BBQ sauce, and our sides were good too. My husband loved their potatoes but I loved the beans; I think they were the best I’ve ever had. There were 2 men working behind the counter and they were friendly and helpful to us as we made our food selections. We are looking forward to going back there sometime soon because we’re nearly out of the BBQ sauce we bought (yep, it was that good! ."

"Good stop overall. The food was decent, nothing wrong but nothing overly special. I ordered burnt ends with fries. I also had a flight of beer, and just didn't find any that stood out to me. It was a good atmosphere with friendly servers."
