"I should have known when waiting in line for a long time to be served we saw two meals returned to the kitchen. My pork belly was dry and there was no crisp at all on the top. One person at our table got a...refund on their meal as it was inedible. Another had cold steak and all who had steak were not cooked to their order. The staff were lovely though. I will not be going back"

"This is a top little spot.It was almost next door to where I was staying, and being handy, I thought I'd check it out.I'm glad I did!For a start, the customer service was first class.The young girl behind the bar was exceedingly friendly, incredibly efficient, was selling the hotel's fare with great aplomb and made me feel right at home from the start.The food is obviously good, because there were a lot of diners in that night.Barra was on special for about $15, and from what I could see, the meals looked delish!!I had already eaten, but I had some chips with gravy. (I could have had a ranges of gravies or sauces, but I stuck to the original!)A HUGE bowl of perfect chips and a sauce boat of yummy gravy!I got through the lot, even though I wasn't all that hungry.The Gladstone has a good range of beers and has various ciders on tap.All in all, it's a terrific friendly and vibrant little pub!!The staff are great and I can't wait to go back again!Good work!I'm so Glad(Stone) LOL!(Ok! Corny!!!!)"

"We had lunch on a weekend and there was no lunch menu available. The main menu wasn't overly appealing for lunch. We had decided to go there so stayed. The meals weren't anything out of the normal for a pub meal. The service was good and the views were great."

"This hotel is located on the north side of toowoomba. the restaurant has very nice dishes to very cheap trips. the staff is friendly and the hotel is not rude or gay. the restaurant area is cozy and there are seats outside the summer."
