"We had our anniversary dinner there on Saturday evening. We did not have a reservation but the staff still made a effort to find us a table. Food was excellent and wonderful service. We even got a free desert to celebrate our anniversary. We differently will go back again."

"Four of us dined on a Saturday night when the Gantry serves a five course degustation - $99pp + $75pp with matching wines. Having polished off a few cocktails beforehand at the Pier One Hotel bar next to the restaurant, we opted for a glass or two of wine each from the wine list, and the bill came to $250 per couple rounded up for a small tip. The service was timely and the waiters, very personable with a fine knowledge of the menu and wines. There is a good range of the latter by the glass as well as a comprehensive list of varieties from all corners of the globe. The food was delicious - each course building in texture, richness and complexity, and beautifully presented. We actually ate six courses as we were served a pre dessert, and petit fours were served with the bill as we didn't order coffee.The restaurant itself is not overly loud despite the hard surfaces, and the decor is interesting with moody lighting and comfortable chairs. If you're lucky you might even get to share a couch!"

"Weekend dinner with husbandWe try sushi& sashimi which is very good rice cook perfectly and sashimi was fresh specially salmon it was melting in your mouth. Tempura was perfectly cooked.Try karage which was good and it could be better with wasabi mayo instead og sweet chilly source. Service was quick and well mannered. One thing concerned, it was bit warm while we having a dinner reason because of it was located basement and table was fully booked. Try and will enjoy!"
