"This is a very beautiful, high quality seafood restaurant chain that recently opened a new restaurant in Burbank. The restaurant itself is very elegantly furnished, although not overly braided, and they have a pretty good selection of daily changing fresh fish entrees that are generally quite delicious, although I occasionally had something either a bit of bland or just incredibly large. The fish is always perfectly cooked and of very high quality, although prices are a bit high. They have an excellent variety, from standard favorites like filled salmon in buerre blanc and lobster bisque, to unique things like Arctic Char, asian style sable fish, Macadamia crusted blue grenadier, and escargot. But what this restaurant really differentiates from most others, and sets it miles especially in Burbank, it is bar and happy hour menu. They have a very large, well-stocked bar, they only use fresh fruit juices and high-quality spirits in their wide range of classic and contemporary cocktails, and they have an incredibly well-priced happy hour food menu. For $2.95, you can get either a large, juicy 1/2 lb burger and frits, or an order of Buffalo wing with carrots, celery and blue cheese, and several other items. With $4 domestic design beers, you can have a huge, delicious meal with a few beers for $12! The Happy Hour is available from M-F, 5-9:30!"

"I came in here today to try some of that DRY AGED FISH. Last time, I got the black cod with potatoes and kale. Today's special was grilled fish over salad, and my choice of dry aged fish was ora salmon, sea bass, and John Dory. Had this along with the Brown Sugar Iced Latte. Wow. Dry aged fish was great. A great fish taste that is rich and oily (in a good way). Not fishy at all. This seafood restaurant is on point. And the latte was great as well. I was just as equally pleased this time around. It's hard to believe that not too many restaurants offer Dry aged fish, as The Joint is one of few in the US. I have a feeling that if this becomes popular, we will see more restaurants offering dry aged fish. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you are a seafood connoisseur. It's fresh, tasty, and well-executed seafood at its best done by a passionate owner and chef. You can tell how much he loves his craft. Another plus is that the ambience here is nice too, a great place to have coffee and hangout.
