"Great place for the kids. Went to deer park club on the weekend and enjoyed a nice meal and the kids had a ball!<br/ <br/ There were face painters and a balloon person. and the playroom kept them entertained also.<br/ <br/ Will be back!"

"This hotel is a hidden gem. From the outside it looks quite ordinary and quite small but inside is just beautiful. I would say it has been refurbished at some point in the last couple of years because everything looks brand new. It is clean,...spacious, modern and comfortable. The bistro is huge and the food is great. There is an indoor/outdoor style kids play area as well as what looked like an outdoor eating area and a massive big undercover barefoot bowls green where anyone can pay to play. They have weekly food specials e.g. Parmigiana night (which I think was about and right now it’s decorated with beautiful Christmas trees, huge baubles and giant snowmen. It’s also open for Christmas Day lunch too bad I already have arrangements otherwise I would be booking. I wish I had taken some photos it looks amazing! Thanks"

"Amazing! Came here on a busy Friday night and the fireplace was going; the place has such a great mood for winter. Ordered the pork belly for dinner, and it was so tasty! The staff are super friendly and asked if I wanted dessert and coffee, and I could not resist. The cheesecake was to die for. Can’t wait to come back!"

"Still has the touch. Great meals at reasonable prices. The only reason it’s a 4 and not a 5 is that we waited 30 mins for the desert after asking for it twice. When the desert Pavlova arrived part of the Pavlova was still a little frozen."

"The first last time from there. ordered the Mongolian bark and a chicken dish and fried rice. absolutely bland, could not taste anything, the sauce tastes tasteless, and the amount of sweetness in all dressed simply killed, especially the miraculous suppe filled with vegien. I guess the vegies hide the fact that there isn't much meat or huh in the dressed. my wife is Asian and she said the worst she cost."

"Monkey King has such a relaxed vibe. You can sit and relax with friends and just have a few drinks without the usual hustle of the cbd. Good food, great beer. Make sure you buy a teapot of beer when you go here. It's the best."
