"All my friends told me that I had to visit the fix bar when visiting the Gold Coast. So we went out of our way to go there on a Sunday night just before Christmas, I was so excited to try a cocktail, but when we got there at 7pm they were closed. There were people approaching the bar and asking for drinks but the bar man said no...closed. I was annoyed.It was a special trip just to go to this bar. I'll be going to Gold Coast again in July so I'll give this place one last try."

"We went for the $8 steaks (plus $3-5 pages, must have 1 page minimum). Steak was a good size and Maische potato was delicious. My sisters also had steak, but they didn't think enough was spiced. When we arrived at the tables that were big enough for... our party of 5 had not been cleaned yet, but the staff was asked to clean the tables if desired. I ordered a jug of soft drink and 5 cups and a friendly waiter helped me come to my table because I couldn't wear it all. Total good basic food for a good price. We sat in a sweet little snail that was super with our almost 2 years old."

"We hired a private room for 2 hours, and had a great time with our teenage children. Huge choice of songs. Staff were great at explaining the machine and getting drinks orders. Would recommend."

"Just ordered a burrito for lunch. Have had one from here before and it was good but this one was tiny and flavourless. For the same money as Zamberos or guzman I would go one of these over that tiny excuse for a burrito. Yes...it was the regular but it was boardering on ‘ where is it ?’"

"My wife and I really enjoyed going here. We went on the first week of opening. While in Surfers Paradise for 4 days we went here twice.The first time was for dinner and beers and the second time was a relaxing Sunday afternoon where we enjoyed a beer and read our books, quite relaxing and not busy in the afternoon.Pour your own beer is a great concept and we enjoyed it. The beers reasonably priced compared to other local places. The food was nice and also similar price to nearby places. Loved the buffalo chicken pie! Would definitely go here again."

"Holy egg cafe, wok temptation are my picks for here for food. The central towers have nice rooms aswell with a good view of the city and coastline. security guard is an absolute tool. Im homeless and needed to charge my phone before work it was 9:30am. I just bought a coffee and bacon and egg burger from a nearby store. and needed to charge my phone for the details on how to get in to the building and what number it is. He's cone up to me and said I can't be here multiple times and I needed to leave or he'd call cops."
