"We had booked a reservation weeks in advance. upon arrival of our reservation, they did not have it. I phoned the day before to confirm that we still had the reservation. it was a Friday night, and it was very busy. Had they not had room for us I'm not sure if we would have eaten there. We were less than impressed about this as we drove 2.5 hours for a weekend away and eating here was supposed to the the highlight of our 25th Anniversary."

"I love Teppanyaki & Japanese food, but this place was terrible. I went with my wife on birthday & it was such a letdown. Way overpriced for soggy vegetables & unappetizing meat cooked by a semi-entertaining chef. The table took forever. Drinks were also way overpriced. I think they need to change the food, the prices, or both. Alternatively, change the restaurant completely. It's a shame that it's even associated with such an iconic and beautiful hotel."

"Very disappointed in our last visit to Carvers. The steak was excellent, but the rest was horrible. Our lobster tails were mushy as if they had been boiled in water too long. We have had better salads at a diner than we did with this fine dining restaurant. The server started off rough, but was better by the end of the meal. The noise level with a larger party was very loud. We have been coming to this restaurant for over 30 years, this is by far the worst experience."

"We celebrated our high season and had a great experience. our server was very friendly, attentive and good with the menu. I had the steak and lobster and my wife had the pistachio salmon and both were very tasty and well prepared. as a bonus, they will receive a free dessert to share when they celebrate something. we have the brownie sunshade and it's delicious. we will definitely go back."

"Shogun Special AMAZING. Over the past 3 months I have taken 10 people at 5 different times to this restaurant. Every time the Shogun Special was ordered. Every time it was amazing. The people I have taken with me all commented that the steak was the most tender they have ever had and that everything was done perfectly. Have an amazing steak and lobster dinner Shogun style. My wife and I have been going to this establishment since the mid eighties and have always had a great dinner and a great time."
