"We had a few hours to fill in between doctors appointments and went wandering to find a place for lunch. We were drawn to the Essence Cafe and Catering across from PA Hospital because of the banks of greenery around it. What a great choice it turned out to be as the menu was broad enough to meet all requirements without being too large to be valid. The choices we made were all delicious and beautifully served by very pleasant staff, who checked on our needs and made sure we were happy. A great place to spend an hour or two"

"I wish I could give a better review because eating was very tasty when it finally arrived. the restaurant was not very busy. there were only two employees and it took 45 minutes or more for someone to take our food order. then we had to wait an hour until the food arrives. I thought the portions were small for the price. dessert and coffee also took a long time to get. it took 3 1/2 hours to get all our meals. a lot of time to pick up! the outside area was very beautiful. the interior is brightly illuminated and has bad acoustics, so every noise is amplified, so it is almost impossible to talk to someone directly next to them, so that we are changing outwards. it's a shame to have this experience because I really want to support the ursache, but I wouldn't go back when personal and service improved. I could only go back for the coffee because it was an authentic experience."
