"Nous avions été convié à une fête privé dimanche midi. Un menu comportant 3 mets nous était proposé: bavette, saumon et pâtes. De l'avis de tout le monde, c'était excellent. Moi j'ai pris une bavette; c'est l'une des bonnes que j'ai mangée. Tendre et cuite selon ma demande.Service courtois et poli, prix abordable"

"Been there twice in the last 2 weeks and I was very satisfyed. The terrace with the view over the St-Laurence is charming. The staff is very nice. They have a good wine selection with a little bit of everything but not too much that you don't feel like you know what to pick. The menu is divers enough but clearly has specialities in pasta and pizza. I liked both enough but I was amazed by the scallops and pleased with the ossobuco. The anti pasta are good ans they have freesh oysters on the menu at all times. Its not quite a 5 stars for me because there is always a little something that doesn't quite click. Like a side rissotto parmigiano that is too tick and undercooked."

"We had a reservation. Came down from the Terrasse l'Annexe and they politely told us that our table wasn't ready and offered to pay for an appetizer back at l'Annexe. We went had another drink and came back when our table was ready. Great...service! The food was great. Had a wonderful time!"

"Was around 9pm and fish wrap smelled weird.maybe it stayed there too long. Ask for fresh ones to be sure and it'll be great.burgers were great fries and root beer too. Great place to go. Just ask for freshly made if you get fish"

"I don't recognize the restaurant that is described in the previous four reviews.This restaurant is located in the lobby of the Hotel Bonaventure in downtown Montreal. There are no windows, so there are no views, except of the hotel lobby and two escalators which dominate the physical atmosphere of this restaurant.Let me say that my wife and I were tired when we ate here and our waiter was just slow and incompetent enough to make things worse, so we were prepared to hate everything about the place. However, the food, especially our main courses, was fantastic! Courses were visually pleasing without being ostentatious; ingredients were fresh and well-prepared; each portion was tasty and generous.As I said, our waiter ruined the dinner. She left my drink to sit on the bar for so long that the ice cubes had melted by the time she served it. She got our dessert order totally wrong. I'm sure this place has other waiters on other nights and she was, at least, pleasant. However, the physical layout of the place is awful, wrapped around two noisy escalators; with tired patrons walking by our table with suitcases in tow.The overall memory though, was of the fantastic food and a well-meaning waiter; so a "very good" rating for this spot."
