"I think I like this place more for the service, and local friendly atmosphere more so than the actual food. The food is not bad either but I wouldnt say it's great, the best thing we had do far was the veggie sandwich. I would definitely try it again"

"It was pretty good this time. Always a hit and miss. Pizza was hot. Not much variety on desserts but had cinnamon rolls and apple dessert pizza so all good. Lol. They will make any pizza you ask for. Don't think it's worth 10 bucks for pizza and a drink though."

"This place is awesome! Let’s start with the waitress! She was great! We were a party of 10 and she never missed a beat! She didn’t write anything down but knew all of our orders from appetizers down to desserts! Then the food came! The food was delicious and everything was fresh! All of our food was cooked well and hot when it came to our table. The manager always checked on us and the cook/owner came out to greet us as well! The music added to the atmosphere! We really enjoyed ourselves and the prices were great for the quality! This is a Black Owned Business that I will support as long as they are in existence!"

"So glad we stopped from southside when I was in slidell to work my truck on. we had lunch, but it was worth it. my wife had the new orleans muffaletta and I had the Irish channel gumbo. the muffaletta was excellent and was really enough that two people could have ordered and shared. I was interested not only to try the Irish channel gumbo, both the seafood gumbo and the chicken sausage gumbo, but the two gumbums were separated by their potato salad. now I have heard of some sharing from louisiana who serve gumbs with kartoffel salad, but I never had it like that. it was amazing! I noticed that the salates that people ordered me could look amazing next time."

"Waitress never gave straws with our cokes. Had to stop them to get some. They brought out the appetizer 5 minutes after the main meal. They never brought the wings out. Had to wait 15 minutes after we finished eating to get the wings. The waitress and the cook just stood there staring at us from the kitchen as we waited. Horrible service. The food was good but the service doesn't make it worth it."
