"A very unpleasant one. We ordered 2 coffee's and a water, mind you they were not very busy and some of the waitresses stood around. We received one coffee and water, so I had to ask for mine. Then we ordered breakfast and had to go and ask for syrup and butter. They seemed very lazy in doing their jobs. I have received 10 times better service when they operated at 100 . The food was good as usual. This time they failed in service at 25 . Not sure if I will go back."

"We are from Asheville, which is a foodie town for sure. Kate's is totally comparable to some of the fine dining in Asheville. Everything is incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, tasty. Just an amazing little cafe that prides itself on great attention to detail. Kate is friendly and watching over the business making sure everything is perfect. We had 3 breakfasts there when we were in town. We just kept going back for yet another fabulous meal. The quiche was so amazing. The crust was unusual, and the inside was creamy and delicious. Coffee is top notch. The fruit is so fresh the last morning I had to add a side of fruit. The little side salad included with some breakfasts was crisp and fresh with wonderful dressing. You have to go to Kate's!!!!"

"This place is phenomenal for what it is. We drive here from Shelby Township once a week for their great atmosphere and delicious sliders! The owner and the staff here are also great! If you ever have a problem, the owner makes sure to take care of you immediately. The staff is friendly, the diner is great! This is the only place I would ever drive an hour to get $10 in Slider and go home. If you haven't tried yet, you're missing! Also, where else do you find a real juke box with free game? Right!"

"My very favourite restaurant in the world!! Since Canada doesn't have any Cracker Barrel restaurants, I have to take advantage of eating there whenever I visit the U.S. The food never disappoints and I love shopping in the country store. It's an all around great experience. I can't wait to go there again!! :"
