"Quiet small place from the lively towards the city. beautiful terrace. excellent eating. I had to whistle and frit for a main dish that were perfect. my friend had a goat cheese and tomatenhaupt, who had the masterstroke of eis in the middle... it was great. although a limited weinliste was it a good service and very reasonable prices."

"We had the 25 euro three course menu which was fantastic. You do need to make a reservation here as it's a great restaurant serving lovely food with very good service. Also had a nice wine list with a variety of affordable wines from 17 - 50 Euros."

"Walked past this restaurant on our first night in Sarlat: in a cosy corner, nice decor and looked inviting. We were a there about minutes before opening time, and received a frosty reception by the young waitress, were seated and then ignored while said...waitress sat with her colleague and a friend. Things went downhill after that: we were asked for our order by a by a young male waiter without being greeted and said we'll order our food later. That seemed to be a mistake; we were ignored for the next minutes or so, while both waiters walked past us on numerous occasions, with eye contact being made, but nothing further. About minutes later my wife flagged the waiter, he came to our table, my wife said we were unhappy with the service and we were promptly ordered to pay and leave, which we did. on the way out, a couple came in, asked us what was going on and left with us. There was no effort from either waiter to try and speak even a word of English, even though we tried a few French words. It was the only time in days in France that we were handled this way. We are restaurant owners ourselves, and would never, ever allow our staff to treat customers this way we also receive tourist there on occasion. It is a pity that we were treated this way (Google reviews have similar review/s) and if the owner allows customers to walk away because of his/her staff, this establishment will not last long"
