"Stopped by as wanted to try the local beers while visiting Salt Lake City. Came on a Sunday night without reservations, but was immediately able to find seating at the bar. The dining area was pretty full, but there were open seats at the bar. Bartender came right over to explain their drinks and menu, then took the orders. Started off with the Squatter's Hells Keep Golden Ale and then tried the Wasatch Brewery Guava Rosa. Both beers were very good. Very relaxing environment to enjoy some drinks while watching some sports on the TV's behind the bar. There were quite a few beers on top, but I opted for the local beers in the can. I just came from dinner, so was too full to order a meal, but was able to watch all the food being made in the open kitchen and brought out. I wish I had some room to eat as all the plates looked delicious. I did save room for a peanut butter chocolate pie that was really good if you like peanut butter. Not exactly the perfect pairing with a beer, but couldn't resist trying it. Nice place to come for dinner or just have casual drinks at the bar. The hostess and the waitstaff were very friendly and attentive. Didn't get to try any of the main courses, but they looked great and was fun having few drinks at the bar."

"All about our meal and experience was great! Our server, Justyce did such a great job with recommendations during our meal. She thoroughly explained why she should recommend certain items on the menu that have an image of what we have just experienced. She was friendly, patient and I felt like she was just herself. Our drinks and meals came out and we were not disappointed. I recommend the Mez Me Up drink. It was such a great combination of aromas. My husband loved his sticky bison short ribs, but I personally think the chicken was the winner of the two. We finished our meal with what I think was a warm ginger caramel cake? I think it could be my new favorite dessert in town. We will definitely be back for more. Great food, location and prices!"

"Best beer and pizza around! They cook their pizza over a wood fire making every bite full of flavor. Their bbq pulled pork pizza was bomb! The pork comes from Pat’s bbq down the street so you know it’s prime. The chili peppers on top make it extra delicious. Also had the “holy trinity”. The sausage tasted amazing. The crust is crisp and crunchy too. Beer and pizza. Great combo!"

"To the manager/owner; you suck. You have a seriously cool bar with amazing potential. But because of the mismanagement, it is arguably a place with some of the absolute worst service in town. You have 2 servers and 2 bartenders on a Saturday night?! We've been in here a handful of times now and every single time, the service has been painfully slow and everyone that works there acts grumpy and miserable like they hate their job. They are all clearly completely overwhelmed. It's too bad because the place could be very cool but the service is SO bad we will not be back. We've given it more than a fair chance. "I've been going to Deser Edge for years now. My most recent visit was to celebrate my mother's birthday, so we had a bit of a larger group. They seated us quickly, the waiter was extremely personable, and the food came out quickly and was delicious. Our go-to appetizer is always nachos and they did not disappoint. My usual order of the Pub Club on rye with house pasta was amazing (as always), and the french fries were some of the best we'd had. I appreciate their service and can't wait to visit again."
