"Ordered a Thai pie that was bare and burnt. Called to talk to the manager about the pie since this is the second time this has happened and he was very rude. He said it was usually burnt because it is thin crust. Won't be ordering pizza from this store for a while. Horrible customer service from the general manager."

"I was surprised to leave with a $50 bill for 2 (no alcoholic drinks). That was a huge driver for my opinion. Our appetizer was flavorful and different. The dips were packed with flavor and the bread had great consistency. <br>

My pesto artichoke was good but left a weird feeling in my mouth. A somewhat bitter taste. <br>

With so many pizza options available, I'll probably try something else."

"The food here was awesome. The service was great too! The free parking the back was a nice touch. I got the brisket pizza and my wife got the Pear Jalapeno Pizza and we split the meatball appetizer. It was a real treat! The open kitchen was really neat also! Cost was about what you'd expect from a downtown, sit-down, non-chain restaurant. Pizzas were between $15-$20 and can easily feed two people/pie. The meatball appetizer was served with a half order of focaccia bread and cost $15. Honestly, the meatballs filled me up and I could only eat one slice of my pizza and took the rest to go!"

"I tried Este Pizzeria since they had a 4.3 Score and people have indicated that they offered NY Style Pizza. The restaurant was clean, atmosphere was great, and they even offer outside dinning except they have two large metal tables and it's hard maneuver if both tables are being occupied. I ordered a the 18' Cheese Pizza. The Pizza smelled delicious when they brought it to me. After waiting a few minutes for the pizza to cool down enough to enjoy that 1st bite. The Pizza was Oven Hot, the sauce was plentiful and the Cheese looked off for NY Pizza as it was greasy, but not olive oil greasy. After eating a slice, I noticed the CRUST is NOT NY Pizza, it's more like Papa John's Crust. $20 for a 18' Pizza these days is the Norm, so pricing was reasonable, the service was impeccable as they allowed me to use the restroom before placing my order, something a lot of restaurants frown upon because restaurants are for customers only and many have signs on the restroom door. I ate a few slices and just wasn't satisfied, the pizza was just not what I was expecting. I didn't even take the rest of the pizza home, just bussed my table and discarded the pizza in the trash. Any of the branded pizza chains, I would eat before this pizza. The Sauce was dark red, a little acidy, the crust was totally unlike NY Pizza Crust, much thinner, and the cheese was lacking olive oil and was greasy tasting. 3-Stars since the Service and atmosphere was excellent. If I was the owner, I would focus on how they could live up to their reputation as being the best NY Pizza in Utah by possibly looking into using true virgin olive oil when making the dough and using authentic ROMA Mozzarella cheese. I was actually hoping to find authentic NY Pizza here at ESTE Pizzaria. So the next day I tried, Villagio's on South State Street here in SLC and I have to say I found a new spot for NY Style Pizza at Villagios. I'm hoping ESTE can turn these opportunities into successes while living up to their reputation of offering authentic NY Style Pizza. I know they can do it... :"

"Delicious Pizza!. I first went to the Pie when I was going to college at the U. We ordered a 23 combo pizza and boy were we surprised when they brought it out! Not only was it large in diameter but it was a thick crust and buried in toppings. One complaint I have with a lot of other pizza places is how skimpy they are on the toppings. I did not have a complaint here and to top it off they were fresh toppings (I hate it when pizza places use canned mushrooms). I have been back several times since and I have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is definitetly fits your classic college hangout which isn't my favorite but I love the pizza."

"The guy who took the order at the front counter, seeing the gajillions of people coming in on a late Monday night wasn't fazed; he took the order and pulled a few jokes while he was at it too. Albeit cheesy, it did help to show that personable people still existed in these kinds of places. The pizza did take a bit of time to come out-- the dessert actually came before the main pizza-- they were both good. The cookies and creme was exactly how it was described and did not disappoint. The extreme veggie was also interesting. The crust was unexpectedly crunchy for a thicker size, which is a good thing for me. The veggies that went with it also made it a great addition to the taste. In all, I'd come here again. Staff is friendly. Pizza is good. It opens late night. It's too bad I go to BYU..."
