"Definitely going downhill. About the only thing Brewvies still has going for it is being able to drink a beer while watching a movie. The menu has changed for the worse. They have removed everything remotely unique (ie Cubano Sandwich) and even changed to a Dennys style menu, complete with bad food snapshots Service was also horrible. One VERY SLOW employee behind the counter while at least 10 patrons waiting in line to place orders and pickup food."

"To the manager/owner; you suck. You have a seriously cool bar with amazing potential. But because of the mismanagement, it is arguably a place with some of the absolute worst service in town. You have 2 servers and 2 bartenders on a Saturday night?! We've been in here a handful of times now and every single time, the service has been painfully slow and everyone that works there acts grumpy and miserable like they hate their job. They are all clearly completely overwhelmed. It's too bad because the place could be very cool but the service is SO bad we will not be back. We've given it more than a fair chance. I hope someone that has a clue how to run a good bar will eventually take this...read more"

"My girls and I randomly ended up here, never been before and seeing the atmosphere I was a little uneasy. But as soon as the bartender (Marty) promptly greeted us with some, how should I say this, outgoing humor, things felt alright. He quickly prepared our drinks, surprising two of us with his “specialty cocktails” which were delicious. The night was going great until a fellow patron decided to get a little aggressive with my friend and I. Marty quickly noticed this happening and stepped in, trying to de-escalate things, he eventually through the guy out. Knowing people care about customers means a lot to me personally so I just can’t say enough. Plus he was pretty easy on the eyes too. Go have fun at wasted space with the hula hoops, Cheap drinks, beer pong, and a mirrored dance floor. If you’re Anything like me and love watching yourself dance, Saturday night at wasted space is the place to be"

"I couldn't resist eating a meal at the most famous of recent SLC openings, Beer Bar. ...a casual eatery featuring many, many beers along with locally-sourced sausages, breads and Belgian fries. Sounded like my kind of place! A rattlesnake and rabbit sausage? Definitely haven't seen that elsewhere and it was awesome, try it if they haven't changed the menu."

"My husband and I have been to this bar a total of 2 times. We go to events a few doors up, so it was rather convenient to find a chill place to grab a few drinks before. The first time was great, the bartender was upbeat an overall great experience.The second time however, we were treated rather poorly. Maybe the bartender having a rough day, who knows. This time, the bartender made snarky comments regarding our age. (We are in our early 20’s) and got pretty rude irritated about us asking which drinks they had available, which was nothing out of the ordinary. Regardless of his attitude towards us they way it made us feel, we did leave him a tip.We returned a few weeks later only to find out we have been banned from this bar. Unsure why. Kinda sucks, but what can ya do? We were quiet and polite. Just be aware that you might get banned from this bar if you ask for a specific drink..such a bummer."
