"I am an African American on business trip to salt lake city for an IT installation in a government facility. this place was recommended by 1 of the local youngs in the facility where my project takes place. it's utah, so I'm the only black one. no big thing. "I had high hopes for Potbelly since I am a sandwich lover. The sandwich was tasty, but nothing special. It took me a while to really decide which sandwich I would like. I settled on the turkey bacon. Again, good but it left a lot to be desired. I wanted to add avocados, ranch, garlic aioli, pesto, or another sauce, but I didn't see the option to really customize. I wanted to add some sprouts, cucumbers or other options... Not much there.<br>

If I'm wrong tell me. I just wish I could have built a sandwich with their clean ingredients. <br>

"Everything about this restaurant was fabulous...food, staff, atmosphere and the fact they give to others! I had the 1/2 sandwich 1/2 salad special. Perfect size! The capreezy sandwich and goat hugger salad was fresh and the flavor was great. The JP grilled cheese and tomato bisque soup my friend had was outstanding too. Love that they have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free chooses! Definitely will be back!!!"

"I personally don’t think it’s worth it. Their sandwiches are great (I’ve actually gone only once), and I didn’t think the price I paid was worth what I got. However, I’m picky with my sub shops as I love jersey mikes and don’t enjoy subway. If you want “better” quality than subway, then it’s not a bad place to go. But if you’re wanting to save money I recommend going to a different sub shop."
