"With reservations and was excluded from sitting outside as an ethically brown person. My white friend asked to sit at the bar and they agreed immediately when I was a minority, they said it was not a room. Very disappointing, considering that they are an appealing menu, but 100% white clientele."

"Nous voulions manger au restaurant "La Nouvelle Orléans" situé face au Cegep de Valleyfield mais il était fermé puisqu'il ouvrait à 17 heures seulement. Alors, nous nous sommes dirigés vers l'église et lorsque nous avons vu ce restaurant situé dans cette belle demeure de 1916 et leur superbe terrasse, nous avons décidé de prendre notre repas à cet endroit.Un grand choix nous est offert sur le menu: plusieurs choix dans les entrées, les salades, hamburger, poutine, bœuf, poisson, pâtes... J'ai choisi le filet de saumon, riz et légumes. Mon conjoint, quant à lui, a apprécié son plat de linguine aux saucisses de cerf, sauce tomates et olives.Ce restaurant fut une belle découverte. Le repas était excellent, un bon rapport qualité-prix, un très bon service de Annie-Pier ainsi qu'une très belle vue sur le canal. Wow!"

"The food here was just ok. Took them 3 tries to properly cook my eggs. The staff is friendly however there are much better breakfast location in Valleyfield."
