"We happened by chance, strolling through the center of a saintes in full tourist season. The musadière immediately conquered us for the two courtyards (one full of plants and flowers) and for the interior sought and original. you eat well, the tapas are very abundant (dinner quietly with two dishes) and is excellent the pavé de tournedos. the service is a little slow, but the boys are hospitable and welcoming. recommended!"

"We went there only for meat and were not disappointed. a limousine bath and a very tender and cooked uruguay picanha exactly according to the order. accompanied by good homemade fries, fresh salad and green beans. and a good glass wine (25 cl), a silver malbec. friendly welcome."

"Only open a few weeks Restaurant Vingt Neuf is already making waves amongst other top restaurants in Saintes. Subtle english touches shine through from the start such as homemade marmite butter! A trio of excellent canapés kicked started the evening. Starters and mains were excellent too. Apple Soufflé, always a tricky dessert to pull of but we needn 't have worried as it rose higher than the Eiffle Tower, not too "egg-ie, and full of flavour. Coffee and Mignardises were very good too. Service was friendly and efficient by a waiter who spoke very good English."
