"This Cajun-style seafood restaurant in Saint Paul is an absolute delight!Food: 10/10The boiling seafood with chef special sauce is a perfect match for the green mussels, lobster, and King crab—high-quality and delicious seafood. Although the prices are a bit on the higher side, it's worth it for such fantastic seafood in the Midwest. The Lobster fries are a must-try—crunchy fries with creamy and tasty lobster sauce, and real lobster. The Lobster fried rice and Crab fried rice are both so good, I can't decide which one I prefer.Vietnamese dishes are also a lovely addition to the menu. Goi Muc and Goi Tom are refreshing and yummy, and the Crab with tamarind sauce is my favorite traditional seafood dish, with the perfect balance of sour and sweet. The snails are okay, but not my favorite.The space is spacious and clean, perfect for a seafood place. If you're coming with a big group (more than 6 people), it's best to call ahead for a table, as the place gets crowded on weekends.The service is friendly and quite fast, making the dining experience even better.However, I did notice that they recently reduced the quantity of lobster in the Lobster fried rice. Despite that, this restaurant remains a top-notch seafood spot that I highly recommend."

"I love this place. Best fried chicken in the area: spicy and crisp. The fries are pretty great too. Fans of Cajun food will also love the fried catfish. Service here is consistently friendly and welcoming. Cajun Life is an asset to our neighborhood!"

"Overcooked overpriced we had no corn so they substituted the sausage for the corn and only gave me three slivers of sausage. It was cold when I got it. And they added $5 for taxes I don't recommend this place to nobody I will never go back. Thank you"

"If I could give zero stars I would. Please do not go here! Their pictures are fake, the food tastes terrible, it was greasy and the rice was rubbery as if it was days old! The steak was terrible and dry and looked like fake meat. The pictures if the placeyou see online are not what is in person. They claim to have no patio and the dine in area is very small. Please stay away, evenprevious workers are claiming that food is rotten n being reused here ????"

"My husband and I were visiting Saint Paul for the weekend and decided to visit the Handsome Hog for late lunch/early dinner on Saturday. We started with pimento cheese which I would love to have just eaten by the spoonful. My husband had the hot brown and I had the pork dip with giardiniera. These were delicious. They were piled high with meat. We also had hush puppies which were very soft with a perfect crunch on the outside. The portions are very filling. I also had an Old Fashion. They make them properly with the single large cube. The wait staff were very attentive. Before leaving the GM came over to chat with us and suggested that we come by for brunch on Sunday. We usually never go back to the same restaurant when we are traveling but we decided to break our rule this time. For brunch we started with a bloody mary for my husband and bacon old fashioned for myself. The Bloody Mary was topped with a rib, pickled okra, a pepper, and pickled onion. The bacon old fashioned is a nice smoky twist on this classic beverage. We had the chicken and waffles, the eggs benedict, and the brisket hash. My favorite of those was the hash. The brisket was absolutely melt in your mouth perfection and the medley of sweet potatoes, corn and such were a beautiful and enticing base to scoop up the hollandaise sauce with. The chicken on the chicken and waffles was crispy and the perfect compliment to the sweet and fluffy waffles. I highly recommend the Handsome Hog and will definitely be back the next time we are in St Paul."
