"Colorful, tasteful food and a simple yet comfortable atmosphere. We ordered a mixture of Veggie dressings and a spicy lamb dish to get a sample of different things. Each product had a unique and surprising taste, although I had this kitchen before. Waiting was a little long, and we have something impatient. But when the food came, the time slowed down and we were happy customers. In her seven years in Basel, my partner had never noticed that this place was removed on a small road from Basel SBB. I think this is a hidden gem."

"Yes, they read it right, there is apparently no internet connection and therefore no possibility to pay electronically. they put this on a small sign on the door, but if they take a place on the terrace, they will not know until they try to pay. if they are on our bike and have only one card with them, they have a problem. either one of their party will stay behind you while you're driving because at the Rhine to get some money, or you're leaving your id. at least what they could do is to put it clearly over the whole menu, the tabs etc. When we talked to the manager about it, she was pretty embarrassed. we will never return here. eating is average, no sandwiches to lunch."

"I had gluten free wiener schnitzel with vegetables and it was tasty. The rosti were also gluten free and delicious. The menu states that many many items can be made GF, and there is a symbol to indicate which ones those are, including veal cordon blue. The gluten free food comes flagged as GF. GF bread is also offered."
