"We went there one afternoon after work and after the experience I can really recommend it! The owner was pretty kind and he suggested us different beers to taste, based on our demands. He gives you the beer's bible, a huge book with different beers from different parts of the world to choose one. This is the hard decision..!The only disadvantage is that you must pay by cash, though the prices are normal being in Switzerland. Nevertheless, I will come back for sure."

"The views are fantastic, not sure about the rest... We went there in the middle of the week during a brief stay in Basel. We both agreed that they could make more of the views: the music was quite loud and a sort of forced party atmosphere (for not many people). Maybe this works on Fridays and Saturdays, but at 10pm on a Wednesday something more like a jazz/chill out bar that allows after-work conversations with colleagues or friends could make more of the place and the great views."

"Having checked out their menu earlier in the day with the very helpful and friendly staff member working the lunch shift to make sure there would be no problems finding a selection that would not upset my wife's dietary sensitivities, we came back for an early evening meal that was made so special by not only the quality of the food but the wonderfully cheery staff on duty who happily interacted with us. My wife went for a simple tuna sandwich with salad and the manager who took our order, aware of her dairy sensitivities, even made a special check that she would be OK with the way they made their bread. Other staff also checked with her during the meal to ensure everything was perfect for her.As for me, thankfully capable of eating most things without any issues, I had gone for the rack of ribs with a zesty sauce. Normally the high spot of this for me is getting into such a mess trying to get the meat off the bones and usually resorting to the King Henry VIII technique of picking individual ribs up with my fingers to gnaw away at. This restaurant's rack comes already boned and all you have to do is use the knife and fork and enjoy the beautifully cooked meat and sauce without needing to find a holiday dry cleaner the next day! The restaurant was showing a major football match on its TV's later in the evening and many of the tables were already reserved for that period which proved that this was a popular venue with locals. And so it should be judging by the fabulous experience we had tonight.Thank you to all the ladies on duty and the Duty Manager for a very happy dining experience and some lovely genuine Irish interactions and humour."
