"I've been to the Middle East and I can tell you that the quality of the meat is amazing. I had the lamb sandwich and that was super tasty. I then opted for a brain sandwich which was very fresh and well worth the wait. Prices were great."

"I celebrated my Birthday this past week at one of our hidden treasures. Vino Rosso is a neighborhood restaurant that is outstanding. The owner came over to our table to wish me a happy birthday ( there were a few that night.) The food is excellant ( this is not our first time here) and the waiters are very informative and friendly. Even if it is not on the menu you can ask if they can do it, chances are they will be able. The wine list is a good one, they even have good ones by the glass. Make a reservation so you will not be dissapointed if you get there and there is no place."

"How had I never heard of this restaurant? Talk about Montreal's BEST KEPT SECRET! If you love seafood, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! The owner makes you feel at home as he prepares each dish with love! Try the calamari...try the fried red snapper...TRY IT ALL, you won't be disappointed!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for a deliciously pleasant saturday night supper! ?PS. "I’m usually happy with the food and ordered regularly but I was very disappointed with my most recent order.I called 35 minutes before the restaurant closing time to confirm if a pickup could be possible/ if the kitchen would be able to prepare the chicken in time and was told that this was possible and my meal would be ready in 20 minutes. The chicken was unfortunately undercooked and as the restaurant doesn’t open until 4 pm on weekends, I could not call them until then.I asked if anything could be done to be compensated, and I was told that the meat was likely undercooked because there wasn’t enough time, but I wish I had just been told that it would not be possible to order rather than to receive undercooked meat that I was not able to eat. I was only offered $5 off for a future delivery but I would have appreciated a more understanding compensation.EDIT: I appreciate the response from the owner and apologize for my harsh review and rating as I now understand that they are training new staff.It would be unfair for me to leave a negative review without stating that my previous visits have all been pleasant both food and service-wise. Thank you for your understanding!"

"Great food. Service started off slow, but improved as our orders were taken quickly and efficiently. We got our food fast and were not disappointed. The tzatziki and taramoussalata were top notch, as were the souvlaki. Word to the wise, stick to the staple Greek food, stay away from the salad (no seasoning, no taste, not good). Family wise - they do have a high chair! :)"
