"Recommended by our hotel, three of us at the early seats at this place, away from the old town, but only 10 minutes to walk from our hotel. we arrived at 7:30 a.m. and were the second party sitting, but within 10 minutes the entire place was full and dizzy with activity. our friendly and spunky waiter, paul, (can be the name, pablo was hurried yet very friendly. we started with the plentiful platter of the charcuterie, consisting of thin cut local meat including ham de bayonne, salami and chorizo as well as some local pate of pork. for entrées enjoyed two of us the entrécore (thinsteak,) who came with fries and a bit salat and a person got the pan-fried fish that was delicious. of course the meal came with mouthwatering French brot. a cheap and yet delicious bottle red wine from st. emilion was a great welcome. we were too full of dessert, but the decisions looked appetit. if they are looking for a really local place, this is a good choice."

"We were lucky to get a table at short notice on a Friday night at the end of July, but were a bit flabbergasted by the amount of people inside the restaurant. In these covid plagued times, with everyone wearing face masks in the street,...I really can´t see how anyone can pack a restaurant to the rim. There was no space at all between us and the tables around us. Scary..."

"Is good but very badly served for the price. 21€ for 50 g of cornets, 5 g of chorizo and 100 g of potatoes. Even the good atmosphere does not change. It's a whisper. The encornet, this morning is 20€ at rungis. If you have money to lose go. Or run to Dantxaria. The same thing x 4 for 11€."
