"I submitted the Restaurant La Baviere for addition to TripAdvisor after visiting the place during a business trip to Quebec in November 2016. The place was recommended to us for lunch by one of the employees that works in our company's locations in Saint Hyacinthe. The food here is home cooked and quite delicious but you do need to speak French to get by as there is no-one with proficiency in English. I can get by with my French and even with that some of the menu item terms escaped me. Nonetheless we took some things on faith and had a great lunch. I would not hesitate to return to the Restaurant La Baviere and would recommend it to anyone. One issue I would however point out to the business traveler is that, like so many places in this part of Quebec, this location does not accept American Express as a method of payment which can be annoying."

"I went there last night under my cousin's initiative. the beautiful temperature allowed us to eat outside. We offer a variety of sangria. I chose a red and my cousin took a rosé white wine. I chose the bedside table; the beef bath, excellent with the ptite sauce, the fries and the caesar salad served in a bowl made of pate filo. My cousin chose vegetarian pizza. I'm sure I'm gonna go back soon with my lover."

"Depuis plus de 10 ans la Casa Grec de St-Hyacinthe était ma destination local pour déguster des calmars frits. En juillet 2016 j'ai remarqué un manque de fraîcheur et hier, le 1 décembre 2016 j'ai été vraiment déçu, c'est évident que le produit est congelé, la panure et la cuisson étaient horribles et le calmar extrêmement dure. Ma copine à commandée une salade césar au poulet qu'elle n'a même pas pus manger vu le gout suri. Le serveur très courtois n'a pas chargé la salade car elle en avait pris que quelque bouché mais m'a tout de même facturé la total des calmars...j'avais la moitié mangé. Pour moi c'était la dernière fois. :("
