"We picked up the keys for our self-catering apartment at Zur alten Saege and sat in the beer garden for a drink. It's in a lovely place and was busy mid-afternoon Saturday. Lack of time prevented us from going back to sample the food but from what I saw being delivered to other customer, it looked great."

"We enjoyed a nice evening there. Service was good and food and drinks well priced. A good range of dishes, but the pizzas were not good when we visited. In fairness the Lasagne and other dishes appearded excellent. Worth a trip"

"Visited here a few times after skiing. Contemporary venue, lots of seating inside and out. Order at the counter. Their Sachertorte is rather good although in my option not as good as the original Sachertorte. Good choice of drinks. Filter coffee not as strong as I prefer. Friendly staff."

"We visited Forellenhof many times during the summer; it is without doubt the best fish restaurant in Bavaria. The fish is always freshly caught and the sauces are perfect. If you love fresh trout, this is the only place to eat. If you have room...for dessert, the Heisse Himbeeren is fabulous"
