"We were recommended to do this locally by the nice operator of our hotel. the very beautiful building from outside, fits well into the overall picture of the kastanienhof. As we have experienced, the entire building complex belongs to the operation of the hotelier. in the inner the concept continues, until in the detail was considered to create a good feeling of space along with a beautiful kamin. the decoration is, however, very simple. our entry was immediately noticed as we had no reservation was offered to us the supposedly last free, not so beautiful place, in the immediate vicinity of the theke. as soon as it turned out, because another couple of things that could not prove a reservation after us were led to a more beautiful table in a small niche. for service: shortly after we took the place, the menu was handed to us and asked for our drink. we decided to have a barely fruity white wine. after we had made our choice, we had time to observe the courses in the restaurant and in the kitchen. the operator herr franco mercaldi, put a great tension and hectic to the day, which also turned on the personal and worse still on the guests. it may be because herr mecaldi, as we were able to read in time, has written a high quality on the fahne. to the foods: our food, a pasta with spinat in a cream sauce, as well as a pizza thunfisch, we wanted to add two supplements salads. the salate, about a small mice bowl full, consisting of small salatherces and exact tomate as well as disc gurke at a price of euro per portion, however, is a cheerfulness. the pasta could not convince, which was missing here from tasteful fringes. the soda was also very thin. the pizza I would call a standard not overwhelming but also not bad and this also at an ordinary price. by the friendly service, we were still recommended a dessert which we also accepted. as a conclusion, it remains to be said that we can only wish the operator that after the first storm the guests do not miss, because it is not particularly extraordinary."
