"Went to Taco Bill's Clifton Hill and what a mistake. Entered to tired decor and no host. Stood in the entrance for nearly 5 minutes before someone came out to seat us. Waiter gave us tortilla chip and salsa and food and wine menu and then disappeared. We waited and waited before a lady came ( at least 10-15 minutes) to see did we want a drink or food. There was no banter or smiles on the face, just two servers who looked like they didn't want to be there. I ordered chicken fajita's and other guest ordered slow cooked supreme beef burrito. Within 3-4 minutes the food was in the table but the only problem was the burrito had been microwave and grilled under a burner. It was inedible and the meat had a nasty tang to it. The chicken fajita was ok but nothing special. When the lady server came over to us, we told her about the food, which was hardly touched, and she swiped it off the table, no apology,and glared at us with the "not happy Jan" face. The whole time we were there, there was only 8 people in the place. The table we sat on had swear words engraved in it and the double glazed window had insects trapped inside. Dirty. There was absolutely no atmosphere either with the place or the staff. When we went to pay, we were not charged for the uneaten meal but the lady did fling the receipt at me and did not even offer any conversation. Stay away from Clifton Hill Taco Bill !"

"Used our Groupon voucher (pay spend for group of of us. Our main waitress was fantastic, being polite, smiley and helpful but the other staff we had were all unfriendly, disinterested and slow, even when we said it was the birthday...of of our group. Our mains came out before they'd even bothered to clear our entree plates, which had been sitting there a good while! Food was good though and the nachos were great, nice and cheesey, not dry like lots of other Mexican places."

"Mexican food. Choice of style, filling and level of spice. I had the naked burrito with beef (extra 50 cents) and medium spice. They added onion, coriander and jalapeños for no extra charge, but you need to ask for them. Did not go for the guacamole at two dollars extra. Food was fresh and tasty."
