"No complaints on the food. very extensive and long wine list, great, focus on Rieslings and German Reds... Atmosphere is cozy, as there are just 4 tables and you might end up sitting with many others and get to talk, like in 1995 before Wifi!...The whole setuo is not cheap, paid a rather high price, but it seems to attract folks with weird looks and strange friends. go with the mood to meet others..."

"Situated in the heart of Düsseldorf's Altstadt (old town), Vente is one of those exquiste excellent quality restaurants one is unaccustomed to find right in the middle of town these days among too many boring fast food chain stores. The ambiente is beautifully crafted in the old school style of wooden panelled walls and high ceilings and crystal chandeliers. Vente is very cosy, the service is very nice and friendly and one has the immediate feeling of being at home. The food menu and the wine card requires some time to look through because it's difficult to know what to choose; the choice is really that good. Vente - an excellent choice!"

"Di Napoli is by far one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Do yourself a favor and don't bother with anything else on the menu other than pizza- I'm sure the other options are also delicious, but the pizzas, baked in an open-face brick...pizza oven, are the true star. The ambiance is wonderful, just a warm and cozy atmosphere. My favorite pizza is the Donna Prima, with duck breast, buffalo mozzarella, tomatoes and arrucala- it is delicious! My boyfriend is partial to the truffle or the 6 formaggi. This place is THE BEST! Be sure to make a reservation first- it is a small restaurant so it fills up quickly!"

"Travelled from Frankfurt to visit this restaurant and it was definitely worth it! Delicious food which one choose by means of cool cards, all very different from one another. Portions are also perfect portioned and service is kind. The interior design was also light and...matched the wonderful food. Great experience!"

"So good we came back for more ! Having arrived in Dusseldorf for the boat show we sought out somewhere to eat on Friday close to our hotel. Although we hadn’t booked, a corner table was found for us and we dined On German speciality’s...and beer Sunday has come Around and we have chosen to return here again. Enough said ......"
