"Looking for a restaurant for our third and last dinner in Regensburg we stood before the Hackerbräu Inn and studied the menu in the curtain. Good-bourgeois, defensive home cooking, but we weren't really excited, because we had the last night in the fat man. And the “Bolero” came into our field of vision. Spanish? Mexican? So, over the street and see it... the head of the house, Claudio Alexe, just got out, we got into the conversation and he led us into the restaurant only open from 18:00 because we wanted to take a look at the restaurant and the menu. He liked it. On the left side of the entrance there is the working counter whose cooling part contains small objects but is not yet filled. The guest room on the right side surprises with its ambience immensely! Nothing remembers a Spanish restaurant, nowhere a torero or a flamenco dancer, the walls without pictures. A long table row with two tables in front of each wall, past padded wooden benches along the walls. The large mirrors on the end face optically extend the space. This "length" is interrupted by the square light strips on the brick walls, which were reworked under several layers in the original core renovation of these rooms. The chic lamps over the tables radiate into something orange tone, which unfortunately does not appear on the photo. The furniture concept came from his wife, he said proudly. Gels! A look into the menu showed that some of my favorite patients such as Gambas al ajillo, Boquerones en vinagre, Albondigas and the Pimientos de Padrones were not included. The boss showed us pictures of a series of tapas that looked really good. Known ingredients, new and different arranged. That was a big attraction, so we reserved a table for 6:00. We were there in time, took place at our reserved table and got the menu immediately handed over. A rather extensive tapas offer awaited us, but no other specialties such as paella, meat and fish dishes. I no longer mention my beverage selection at the price of 4.10 €! We chose five different tapas. Tortilla Boleros (3,90 € homemade tortilla with Salsa Brava potatoes kept in egg were well spiced and juicy and in combination with the piquant-spiquant Salsa Brava very delicious. Ensalada de mariscos (6,80 € seafood salad From the good mix of baby locus, mussels, shrimps and Calamari in small pieces was not like rubber, too dry or too hard. Pray on a thin layer of avocado mousse, doubled by thin parmesan cracker and shoved rocket, which censored all tapas. Pincho con vieiras (5,80 € with avocado mousse and roasted crispy shells and flavoured with garlic and rosemary. The slightly sweet meat of the Jacobsmuschelnus was buttersweet and was easy to share with the fork. The delicate, nutty avocado mousse, dressed on a dark baguette disc, was very well tasted and along with the high quality Balsamico creams the flavors were wonderfully harmonized. Higado de pollo (3,90 € Piedge chicken liver spear in bacon I am not necessarily a friend of chicken livers, on request of my girlfriend she was chosen. But that was really not a bad choice! Cooked to the point, picantly seasoned, but not too sharp, packed with a sharply fried bacon disc, everything fits! Patatas bravas (3,50 € homemade potato corners with spicy Bravas Sugo and Aioli rich potato corners with spicy Salsa Brava, which was sharp enough, the Aioli had made a little more garlic well. Crema Catalana (4,50 €) This famous Spanish dessert with sugar crust disappointed us. Tastefully good, it was just too strong from consistency. At the boss he said it was adapted to the taste of his guests. Insider head shakes! In the end, I would have liked to have enjoyed a “Carajillo” and ordered him with the young woman who, however, saw me very surprised because she could not start with it. She called the boss to the table that was just as surprised he never heard. I told him that every Spaniard really knows this espresso with hot brandy and drinks at any time of day, often even after breakfast. Despite his Spanish name, he was not a Spaniard, but a Romanian. But he wanted to deal with the carajillo. That's it! Conclusion: The ambience impressed us, the food also for the Crema Catalana, we felt comfortable!"

"For dinner a little smart, who has no rest day on Monday and best to have a bus stop nearby. That was given here. The card is placed on the HP and otherwise it makes a good impression here. The stop Dachauerstr. a few steps towards Danube and you are already in front of the Gasthof. The toilets are only reached by one step upwards. We did not see our own parking spaces and there is a paid parking lot at the bus stop. Service We were welcomed very friendly and we were offered two tables to choose from. He gave us the cards and we have time to look for drinks. After the order they quickly came to the table with one. We didn't have to wait long for dinner, and he said we should taste it. However, there was no demand among food if everything fits. But he was always present, so you could have said something if you needed something. This also went smoothly on the side table during a reordering. The empty plates were immediately noticed and asked if it tastes us and whether we want something else. We shared that we would like to have a manowar dessert, and he counted on what they have on offer and what distillery they have to choose. They reached us fast, and he said nice. The glasses were empty and he immediately asked if we wanted something. We shared that we wanted to pay and he quickly brought the document. It was thanked, a beautiful evening desired and when he was lasered, he meant friendly pfiad eich, until the next ́n moi. Very nice, friendly, you're talking to you now, but what's in here? He was dressed with a costume and this fits all into a Bavarian hostage. 4.5 Stars Food There is a typical brewery card with clearly cut sleeves, but it still looks completely new, not as worn out as you often get them. The dishes are very meaty here by sausage, roasts, carvings, burgers, but not overloaded. As a vegetarian dish there are ulcers. Salads, appetizers and main dishes are also available. We had a Augustinian dark and a dark wheat for 3,90 €, a hazelnut snap for 2,90 € and a snail for 3,90 €. We decided to eat the Regensburger Wüstlplatte Bauernwurst, Schweisbratwürstl and Regensburger Knacker with Sauerkraut and Bratkartoffel for 14,50 € and the homemade classic Cheeseburg. The schnapps of high quality and very tasteful, tasted more. Unfortunately we no longer know the distillery. You were very good. At Burger the cheese looked unusual and produced scepticism. What was completely in vain. It was a very spicy cheese that was crushed and slightly crispy. Something else and he tasted like that. The tomato was a large slice thinly cut, you don't have to say anything about the taste at this time. Cut the vinegar with very good taste and into thicker slices. Onions cut into strips and slightly fried. Lollo Rosso was a salad. The rolls now probably a finished product, but not the usual soft, but rather a little firmer we beautifully roasted. The meat medium announced and was close to it. It was juicy, delicate pink fried and tasty. A Burger lap was still on the bungalow, that was discreet mustard, beautiful spice with a very light sharpness in itself. Simple, slightly different, but delicious. On the sausage plate the peasant sausage was cut in and fried sharply. She had a class taste, very sharp, slightly greasy as a peasant sausage. We want to know the butcher, very tasty. The pig sausages do not have to hide here either, because from us they should be a little fried, tasteful, but great. The Regensburger Knacker convinced us less. They were cut into slices and fried. From consistency was very soft and tastefully not much behind it. It wasn't our case, it tasted more like a Fade Leoner. The sauerkraut was well cooked with suitable acidity ratio, light caraway-notiz and noble taste. Bratkartoffeln – here the spirits of Manowar02 separate. I don't like potatoes with bowl, Spotzl already, so no point of criticism, Spotzl's dish is roasted his testimony they were impeccable, slightly crispy with him and not too fat. Salt they have enough, otherwise it could be a bit more spicy. There was also a small bowl with sufficient spicy mustard, which was not too sharp. Simple dishes, but delicious. I hope they will be back and we will be happy to come back because the frying on the side table looked very delicious. 4.5 star atmosphere It is a rustic Bavarian house with corner benches, tables and chairs. Part of the light, partly of dark wood. Decorations of Anno plus, a figure in the wall, wooden ceiling and tile floor. The gift is in the room, a regular table is available where everyone is welcome. On the wall there is a table with daily dishes and in the box glass windows the typical pictures. Everything here is also beautifully illuminated. On the tables there is a deck on which there is a holder with beer lid, a sign with drink, a vase with fresh flowers, a jug with cutlery and napkins and unfortunately only salt and pepper shakers. There are also huge wheat glasses, never seen. Left of this somewhat hidden from a normal wheat glass, somewhat hard to see on the photo. There is also a room where you can celebrate separately. On HP www.quetschn.com you can also see the menu and how many people are the rooms. A beer garden is also available according to HP. We like such economies, simple, simple, cozy. You have to get used to the sound level of regular table guests. 4 star cleanliness Everything was clean in the guest room. Dust traces, ladies' toilets were not visited on men's toilets. 4 stars"

"My favorite restaurant and meeting point in quite regensburg! if for a small up-the-run snack, a candlelight dinner or a birthday party, I always chose bodega. I can't get enough of their tapas, always fresh and tasty and the fish dishes are definitely my favorites. if I had a date, it would be here."

"The tasty Causa has returned me culinaryly to Lima. I recommend Pachamama: The food is excellent and original, the staff very accommodating and the ambience, with Peruvian radio in the background, simply harmonious."

"My daughter is living in Regensburg now and she took me to this restaurant because of the Nachos, she said they are the best, and indeed they are: Self-made (not from a bag), tasty and really well done. But the fajitas… mmmm… what can I say, no Mexican, no Latin will ever fill a fajita with broccoli and carrots, and specially not from vegetables coming from a supermarket frozen bag. Spareribs were tasty but to dry, no sauce, neither BBQ nor chipotle sauce or anything, just dry. I was indeed really disappointed with the food. Not Mexican at all! It is edible? Yes it is. It is tasty? Well, presentation is nice and it is edible. Cocktails are nice, atmosphere is good and service is also very good and friendly. But if you really enjoy and know something about Mexican food, just go for the nachos!"
