"My favorite value sushi place. Don’t let the setting fool you, he serves high quality imported fish and has a brother in Japan with a Michelin Star so he knows what he is doing. But don’t expect anything but very traditional nigiri and dishes. Nothing flashy or fusion."

"The lady at the register was very nice when I was ordering my food and even added some seaweed and green onions to my udon for free. However the sushi left a lot to be desired. The uni tasted and looked like it had been left out for days ; I gagged when I took a bite because the taste of sea was so strong in a rancid way. the shrimps, octopus, and squid were rubbery how they taste when prepared earlier and improperly stored. The color of the tuna and salmon were both a little greyer than usual.For the price, (roughly sixteen for the platter of sushi) there’s way too much competition for “bargain sushi” for me to come back. It seems that other people have had better luck with the freshness of the fish and seems like this place is hit or miss."

"Sushi Anza is a small mom pop hole-in-the wall Japanese restaurant in Torrance. It's been around for awhile so it's a go-to place for a chill casual night out. The restaurant is really small and doesn't have a lot of tables inside so I like coming here for takeout. They get a bunch of takeout orders so order way ahead of time because it takes awhile. This place is great for sushi. My favorite roll to get is the eel avocado roll. The staff is very nice and friendly. Parking is free and in front of the restaurant. Can't wait to come back here again!"

"That was our second time. I'm so glad it tastes just as good as the first one that was 2 years ago. We ordered the Premium Anomkase (Kochpflücken) for $60 per person. It comes with 18 things. Appetizer, 14 nigiris, 1 handroll, choice between miso soup or fried shrimp head, ice (whatever the taste is this day: it was green tea this time and last time it was black sesame). Now they only serve outside and go. There are three tables outside, so you need to reserve before time. I wish I had lived nearby so I could go all the time! Love love love this place!"
