"We went to Stonegrill based on Tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed.While the place doesn't look like much from the outside (and the placemats are in need of replacement), we were greeted friendly by the host and then got the special presentation/explanation by Will, who told us all about the different pieces of meat, how we should cook them, and what to look for.The meat then got served on a hot piece of volcanic stone, and ... YES, all the meats we had (eye fillet, rump steak, chicken, crocodile, kangaroo) were indeed excellent!"

"A special mention to Imwen (I hopefully wrote it right). We arrived unannounced 15 people! She was alone and explained it was her pleasure to help. It quickly and efficiently organized our table, orders and drinks. She then served handfully right...and all including side gags and laughs. What a wonderful girl. The food was great and a lot of it. We were all very impressed. Thank you."

"Most of the staff were friendly, food was fine, pizza and pasta was good, but no way to get crumbed fish in their most expensive seafood option, instead of locked up so for crumbed mackerel so a loss of $10 plus to the club for not asking...cook if they could crumbed the first choice. Salad was as dry as a bone without dressing, fish also dry with a minuscule piece of lemon."

"Putting aside the lack lustre customer service, I’m afraid the ‘premium’ ribs from what I thought would be a great place to have ribs given the name) tasted far from. Despite the unappealing look of the sides, the ribs themselves were barely basted, lacking in...flavour and the pork itself quite average. Little bones within the slab and cartilage?sinew? I don’t know what it was but it was a put off, just ruined the dinner. Creamy mash? I can make lumpy cold mash myself at home. After trying the local Hogs and LoneStar, this one ranks last in our books :"
