"My second visit and decided to give a review. Great decor, very clean and bright. Colors add a nice vibe to the space. Customer service was good and young woman who waited on us was very kind. There was another person sitting behind the counter with a hoodie over her head on her cellphone. Didn’t know if she was working or just hanging out, either way wasn’t a good look. Food was disappointing, greens were cold, potato salad was definitely not homemade, and catfish filets were so thin they were tasteless. Prices are a bit high for quality/quantity. A past review commented on the loud music and I agree. Not only was the TV playing music, but while we were eating, someone in the kitchen decided to play different music and turned up the volume VERY LOUD! Too much noise our relaxing dine in turned to an abrupt take out. I’m all for background music but are you a restaurant or a nightclub? So want to love and support this place and see so much potential, but the devil is in the detail. I’ll keep routing for y’all!!"

"I've been on a long, fruitless journey through PVD looking for Southern fried chicken... Until now! Every Wednesday and Sunday Night, Kat cooks up some of the best chicken you can find in this city. Cheap drinks, R&B jams, very clean and inviting atmosphere. Don't be discouraged by the exterior, you are in for a real treat. The crowd is super friendly and accommodating! Cash only for the food and the bar takes credit. Chicken dinner is served with fries and white bread just like down South; and for only 7 buck a plate! Stop in, have a drink, bring some friends!!! (Can you tell I"m excited about this place?!"
