"This hidden gem is not located downtown so we tend to forget about this place every so often. What will keep us coming back is the Reuben sandwich. The Heartland Restaurant in Princeton makes easily THE BEST one we have EVER eaten. Aside from that, the restaurant is a bit old, but service is usually not bad. Typically there is only one person on the floor when we dine here and refills can take some time if there are a number of people dining but that is NEVER an issue to us as the food is ALWAYS worth the wait. We just need to remember to come here more often as the menu is good with solid, reliable choices at fair prices. Most certainly worth trying for lunch if you haven't already. Thank you!"

"Happened through Princeton the other day. I saw the sign on the way into town and that's where we ended up for lunch. The only downer for our visit was the power going out (all over town). The staff was very accommodating, offering to make us what they could. The power returned and we had an excellent lunch. Good food, great atmosphere, great staff, and amazing clean bathrooms with change tables in both! Highly recommend this restaurant to any and all."
