"Lovely view but slow service at times when there is only one barman. Tables not cleared often enough so you end up clearing them yourself. There should be a dress code for a bar like this. For the first time there was a great barman named Max knew how to meet and greet and was a fast worker. The club needs more like him to serve."

"Bar Florian was an awesome place for drinks and chats prior to going out. We ordered food before our booking at the Glass House and became concerned when nothing appeared after 1 hour. After questions they confirmed ovens weren't working but could get something to us in 10mins.A little late to our show which was disappointing but loved the bar none the less!"

"We went to Scampi’s on January 2nd for lunch had the seafood platter for two. It was amazing especially the crab which was served up in a chili-chutney sauce. The service was excellent the views looking over Town Beach were sensational. What was pathetic is that when we turned up there was a sign up that said the restaurant was fully booked. By 1.30 pm it was clear most of these parties had not turned up hadn’t bothered to cancel, which was confirmed by the waitress. These people are trying to earn a living and this type of behaviour is unacceptable. What are these people thinking? Thanks for a great day Scampi's – we will definitely be back."

"I just visited today with a group of Seniors from Nambucca Heads and had the best meal ever. We have never seen such a selection of beautiful tasty food before. The staff were lovely and we were made feel very welcome. You deserve the 5 stars."

"We had a high tea baby shower for 16 people. 3 tie plates came with very fresh delicious fingers sandwiches a variety of cakes and hot finger food. A tower per 3 persons. We can't eat anything like that. So glad I ignored reviews. Some people are never happy and we could not have been happier!!! Our waitress was amazing and catering for all our wishes and the venue was perfect. A private room overlooking the water all decorated and furnished. PERFECT!"

"Cute restaurant set on the river, however it is very small and if full would be over crowded and noisy. The food was nice but so very expensive. Outrageous prices for lunches particularly, service was good, however we won't go back because of the prices."

"I came here with my family one night for dinner and the food was great, we had some breads to start of with and they were nice and for dinner i had chicken breast i think and that was perfectly cooked and if I'm honest it was the best chicken I've ever had it was so moist and not one bit dry. I also tried the chocolate mousse and it was really good except for me it was too rich. There was only 2 negatives about this restaurant, 1 it was very cold the heater was on but there was only 2 families there and we could've been spread out more to make it feel less empty. 2. the waitress was very nice but. she had no idea what she was doing (by the looks of it) she had her back turned the whole night putting glasses back on shelves and cleaning, when we needed something we basically had to wave her down or make some loud noise. It is expensive but you get good food for what you pay for."
