"We stopped by here on a Saturday afternoon, as we were in the city for a Steelers game. Not far from the stadium at all. Unfortunately we had eaten before going, so can’t give a personal review of the food. There was another couple sampling some items at the time though, and they seems to enjoy everything. The wines were great. We enjoy dry reds and were pleasantly surprised with these Argentinian products. We got there right as they opened, so the inside still smelled quite strongly of cleaning solutions. Fortunately it was a nice day, so we sat outside in the little patio behind the building. Not much of a view, but cute area. We would definitely go back the next time we are in the city."

"If only it were as wonderful as it sounds on everything. The service is fine, if not quite as attentive as we wanted. The atmosphere provided a warm, cozy feeling unless you were anywhere near the small bar with distracting TVs on sports channels. If it's a nice night, choose the dining area on the sidewalk instead. The portions are small, 4-5 ounces, as we were kindly warned by our waitress. It sounded like plenty and perhaps was for most dinner selections with a starch side dish. The “signature dish” Study of Duck sounded great but proved disappointing. The duck confit and apple samosa had neither flavor of duck nor apple. The smoked duck BLT was the size of a quarter and thus too small to provide much of a favor sample. One bite and it's gone. The Bourbon glazed duck breast was perfectly cooked but sat on a bed of darkly, sauce-saturated soba noodles with 5-6 bits of bok choy. If it hadn't been for the 4-5 ounce duck breast I'd have gone seriously hunger. The Tapas platter was a nice variety of appetizers of mixed textures, spices and tastes. The Shrimp Tempura and Tandori Chicken satay were the hits there while the Ahi fell flat, and was sent back to the dishwasher with the other four empty plates. The most popular menu plan was the Mixed grill that allowed mixing and matching of meats or seafood with one of six sauces and one of five sides. My guests found the fettuccini with tomato concasse and fresh basil sauce particularly flavorful. The wine menu, as can be expected here, was outstanding and diverse. Some wineries featured I had never heard of and the staff is well trained to recommend a selection to go with your chosen meal. The desserts sounded great and while one of my dining partners loved her Tiramisu cheesecake, the cappucino creme brulee was a soupy, if tasty, messy. A straw would have worked better than a spoon. The originality of ingredient combinations is intriguing but didn't work with the duck. While the portions are small by normal gargantuan American standards, when the Chef hit the mark, it was great. Good food, good service. Definitely worth a visit in Pittsburgh."

"Absolutely delicious a fun, charming atmosphere! The cook can order the dishes if you have any food intolerances (I ate the Bronzino Steak tartare my husband ate the burger). Our waiter was very helpful and very friendly. I'd eat here again!"
