"Great brunch on Sat and Sun. A small place with the kitchen behind the bar so everything is served fresh and hot. The Hangover Helper is exactly that! The BLT breakfast sandwich is outstanding and has a generous helping of bacon. The Bloody Mary's are good, particularly with the Jalapeño infused vodka. The staff is very friendly and efficient."

"Honestly, our server completely ignored us for most of the evening. It was especially frustrating when wanted our checks and the server kept ignoring our table. It would have been nice to be able to pay and continue with our evening. The food is okay, but the service really upset the evening."

"The Modern Cafe may not be much to look at on the outside, but the bar/lounge area inside is very nice and the staff is friendly and personable. I had The Spartan, a sandwich that apparently won a contest some years back. It was delicious, and as the bartender said, it was a massive sandwich! I believe his exact words were 'the only thing you need after that sandwich is a nap! ' He was right..."
