"Our sailing party came across this restaurant by accident in a side street and what a nice surprise it was. Service was prompt and very friendly and the food faultless. Decor classy. We were neither hurried nor neglected. Top marks to the waiter for looking after us so well. Thanks also to the owner, Patrice, for promptly posting to Ireland the hat which I'd left behind. We've promised to return to eat at this lovely restaurant and also to beat them at football!"

"We were here on a grey evening so the cosy interior was just right and we liked the fact that there was a big table of locals. The crepes were excellent, preceded by a lovely amuse bouche of tuna and mini pancakes washed down with the house cocktail for 3.5 euros. The piriacaise pancake was delicious, smoked salmon, hot flaked salmon, potatoes and reblochon. Kids were delighted they could compile their own, choosing from a list of ingredients which included hot goats cheese, bacon and honey. Sweet pancakes just as good with rum, banana and chocolate flambeed at the table. Yum..."

"We called for a nice relaxed lunch and it took 2 hours due to the dreadful service. The food was ok not a patch though on lunches we subsequently had. We had to wait well over an hour for our galette following a starter despite very nicely reminding the waitress with a nod and a smile. Finally I spoke to the owner and we eventually received our galette. The waitress had such an attitude. We were the only English eating there and we certainly wouldn't eat there again despite being very regular visitors to piriac. Diners beware don't eat here"

"Quel désagréable surprise d'aller diner dans un restaurant classé premier alors qu'il n'y a rien d'exceptionnel. En effet j'ai pris, avec deux autres amis, la fameuse choucroute royale de la mer, il n'y a que le mot qui est royal. Vous y trouverez un lit de choucroute avec des morceaux de poissons qui se battent en duel autour de l'assiette et deux malheureuses gambas tellement petites que je les ai cherché. Je ne vous parle pas de la présentation que même un apprenti cuisinier aurait mieux fait après un mois de formation. Bien entendu le prix est exorbitant. Enfin j'ai cru que j'allais me rattraper sur le café liégeois que j'apprécie en fin de repas et bien là c'était le pompon, jamais je n'ai vu un dessert aussi mal réalisé et sans intérêt. Je déconseille fortement ce restaurant et après avoir passé la semaine dans les restaurants de La Turballe, je peux vous assurer qu'il y a beaucoup mieux et à moins cher !!!"

"Suberbe food made very welcome with our 3 westies booked to visit following day but had to leave piriac early so had to cancel will be back we live in France one of the bast meals thay we have had in france"
