"Me and my wife are fans of the diner food and we have been to many places in Peterborough and on Friday we decided to try a place one of our friends recommended called Daylight Diner. As soon as we walked in we were greeted like we were family of the owners(which to me a diner should have that family like atmosphere. We were seated and given our drinks within a few minutes our server Darcy came and gave us menus and gave us her take on what she felt was her favourite food there. I decided to order the hot beef dinner and my wife went with the turkey club. My dinner was delicious. The beef was very tendered and melt in your mouth with the gravy it was a piece of meaty heaven and the mashed potatoes and sliced carrot were cooked to perfection. During the meal the owner himself came up to our table and asked if we were enjoying our meal and briefly talked with us.(we shared some of our diner experiences with him). In a nut shell Daylight Diner is a great place to eat if your a Diner lover like myself. I recommend it to anyone."

"I generally like Burger King but their onion rings are too dry. And with the most recent order, my wife didnt get extra tomatoes and my sandwich was too dry. not enough mayonnaise."

"We decided to try out the new and improved PJs diner on Sherbrooke Street. The new owners are amazing, its now a family run business. The meal was hot, fresh, fast and a large portion. i added a coupe of pictures from our meal. we will definitely be returning."

"They have a dedicated frit for fried, and gluten-free dough for their fish (gluten free fish chips!! They also make fresh soups that are gluten-free, although not all are, so check when you call. They post their specials on their Facebook page"

"I love this place. It’s my go to for Indian. There are a lot of clearly marked vegan options and some products are easily changed to be vegan. For example there are a couple items with notes on the menu that tell you to omit certain sauces if you want it to be vegan. There are lots of things to try! Portions are great for the price and sometimes they’ve thrown in extras at no add’l charge (like samosas, roti, etc. ."
