"I visited Nelson Street Pub on 22 May 22, for Birthday lunch with a friend. After being seated; we realized that the young waitress was on her own and quite busy. With that said, our Waitress Alyssa kept calm and polite while running off her feet. Our food arrived, wings and Caesar Salad, and everything was delicious!! Our Mozza sticks were missed but Alyssa quickly corrected the error; providing us with an additional order. We will definitely be back and just want to recognize our Waitress for her hard work, great attitude and Service; it was exceptional!! Thank You Alyssa!!"

"Made meek (as well as its sister place in Petawawa) is a great, informal Lebanese. We have stopped at one or the other several times on trips through the region. We have always ordered the meze plate (vegetarian) for 2, which has a full rage of their offerings. There are also very fine grilled meats if that is your thing. Be sure to finish off with one of the great baclava."

"Thai Gardens is a gem. I have often taken friends friends here for lunch and it's always a great experience. If you ask, you can have your palm read which always makes for interesting conversation. I highly recommend their chicken curry dish, and if you have time for dessert give the ice cream a try too!"
