"My husband and I traveled to Passau in December for the Christkindlemarket. The hotel is on the Danube river and away from the hustle of the market. The room was clean and well maintained, they even offered wash cloths! However, there was a small step between the bathroom and the bedroom. You needed to be fairly awake in order not to trip when visiting the bathroom in the middle of the night. The views from the dining room were beautiful but the food was your standard German breakfast offerings - nothing fantastic. Overall it was a comfortable stay and the desk staff was very welcoming and helpful."

"We went to the restaurant in a huge group and really as a vegan you cannot really complain about options in a Bavarian restaurant. I was glad to see that they marked two main dishes as vegan. Honestly, the Couscous-Patty tasted good, but the vegetables tasted like frozen vegetables, a bit sad. However, the staff was really friendly and when I asked for a vegan appetizer/dessert, they offered me a salad with Chanterelles and fruit salad, which was much more compliance than I found in other Bavarian restaurants. In addition, the salad and the fruit salad tasted much better and fresher than the main dish."

"Auf der Speisekarte waren zahlreiche Gerichte, also ist sicher für jeden Geschmack etwa dabei. Die Bedienung war mehr als freundlich und auch der Chef des Hauses plauderte mit den Gästen. Unser Essen (wir waren zu viert) war bei jedem ausgezeichnet. Bei mir war es der Schweinebraten. Die Gerichte kamen schnell auf den Tisch. Die Preise sind angemessen. Leider gab' s kein Cola Zero, vielleicht ja beim nächsten Mal. Wir kommen sicher wieder, wenn wir in Passau sind."
