"Good food, friendly service, very reasonable prices. However the place looked closed and there was no welcome sign or open sign on the door. I wasn't the only person to second guess if the door was the entrance to the restaurant."

"We tried the wontons in spicy garlic sauce, the braised eggplant with mixed vegetables, Singapore chowfun & Szechuan style fried rice. We really enjoyed the wontons which were packed full with fillings, and not just the wonton wrap. The sauce was a little bit too salty. There was a reasonable amount of shrimps in the fried rice. The dishes were reasonably priced. We would definitely come back here when in the area."

"We were on the road to Tofino and need a toilet stop, we went to the tourist information centre. In the car park was this little trailer selling samosas and chaat. Some of the best Indian food I have had, inexpensive and tasty. The owner had run a restaurant in Toronto for many years came out west to retire, got bored and opened up this little place. He said the recipes were his mothers. He runs it with his wife and does catering for weddings etc. If he is still there try the food, I had the chaat, delicious"
