"Filet was melt in your mouth, served hot. Cream corn was to die for. My husband had the pork chops, excellent flavor. The service was good, and suggestions made were a real help in selecting our menu choices. Plenty of food. We had Three sides, but two would have been plenty for four. The chocolate flourless cake was the best we have had. The evening was great, especially the ambience of St Regis."

"This may be just a cultural difference because the US has a gratuity focus in respect of service with all servers eager to please to get a good gratuity but.. we were asked what we wanted to drink within seconds of being seated before we had even taken our coats off! We were then asked the same question again every couple of minutes before we relented. After ordering our food the starters arrived in less than minutes (again, I know that US citizens like efficient service whereas we prefer effective but more relaxed service). The food was all very good but quite overpriced when compared with other restaurants (probably not an issue for their target customers but as we dine out every night on vacation this was not good value even though it was good food). Whilst my wife was still eating they came to clear my plate and other dishes, which is very bad form in our book and we sent them away (once again probably just a cultural difference between US and UK customers). A large group of very loud people also spoiled it a bit."
