"Meat was dry overpriced and not good. Mostly fat on the ribs. Kid-friendliness: Only had 3 options on the children's menu. Two of them were barbeque so if you have a picky child who only likes Chicken nuggets and macaroni Don't bring your kids here. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20"

"Ordering on line was easy, food was ready on time. Salad and cinnamon rolls were excellent but nothing in between. Mashed potoes were extremely stiff with no flavor, gravy had a very weird taste, it tasted like vinegar. Breast were good, legs and thighs were extremely tough. I will never order from there again. It's worth the drive to go to the original Strouds off of 1-35 and Vivion Rd. They never disappoint..."

"We are always down to try a new bbq spot. Unfortunately it didn’t start great, our online order wasn’t ready until 20 minutes past pickup time. We ordered the Smoketown throwdown sandwich, big Memphis sandwich, baked beans and fries. We received only 2 tiny containers of bbq sauce, and the sandwiches are huge. For a bbq spot in KC that’s just a crime. The buns used just disintegrated upon taking out of the box. We get bbq sandwiches to go frequently, so we know this doesn’t always happen, and must be the bun used. Smoketown was good quality meat, but just fell apart. Neither sandwich had enough bbq sauce on them. The Memphis was supposed to have pulled pork AND coleslaw. I attached the picture so you can see just how little coleslaw was actually on there. Good flavor meat, but can’t tell you anything about the coleslaw. The fries were nice and crispy but no salt. The baked beans are possibly the only thing without complaint. Overall, I would give them another chance, maybe it’s better in person?"

"WOW! I had the bacon with engraving and an egg very easy! Get the hot sauce on the side because it's hot! Excellent original restaurant. Look forward to trying some of the drivers at home. I bought some beer socks to go home. My wife had the classic dog and a salad. Very good. Oh, my God, the beer socks were fantastic. They even wrote the recommended cooking instructions on the package that they showed fantastic."
