"We stumbled across this place on our first morning in Melbourne and then happened to stumble across it on our 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th mornings as well - the brunch is that good! Tucked away down Kavanagh Street, a very short walk from Southbank and the National Gallery of Victoria. this is an absolute gem of a brunch spot well worth going to. On day one, I had the Saporito Stack which consisted of huge, perfectly cooked hash browns, beautifully herbed grilled tomatoes, sauteed mushrooms, 2 poached eggs and halloumi - overall a delightful combination. The flat white was also absolutely to die for and still the best I've had since arriving in Melbourne.Overall a must visit place, very friendly for both vegetarians and meat lovers, highly recommended!"

"We stumbled upon this charming, little place while looking for place to eat lunch, getting lost on our way to Vieux Lyon. It's really a tea cafe but they serve plats du jour. This isn't a place you go to for extensive menu as there were only two choices, chicken or salmon. My husband got the fish and I ordered chicken. Both dishes were delicious. The chicken was served with plentiful accompaniment of vegetables, a kind of ratatouille of tomatoes, eggplant, onions, and mushrooms. The perfectly cooked salmon was served with a large boiled potato in a nice light broth. We shared the chocolate tart for dessert, a thin crusted confection with a velvety thin layer of rich chocolate. Yummy!"

"I was lucky to have this amazing place close to my Airbnb apartment! The place and his chef were amazing. Decoration of Chef Lyon was very cosy and warm and there were 7 very famous lamps by Alberto Meda! It really feels like France. Very caring owner. The smell was a combination of fresh herbs and butter. Delicious brunch on Sunday and breakfast during the week. Good prices! Very clean. I simply loved it."
