"We stayed at La Riva Essen last night. The food tasted very good. I recommend the gogonzola sauce and the beef steak was very well prepared. Unfortunately, the service in my eyes was not very good. The restaurant was quite crowded, so the service staff had a lot to do. In my opinion, the service suffered. Here the question arises whether this problem could be solved with two or three employees in the service. The service staff was friendly, but we often have to draw attention to us to get drinks. Once we had to repeat the order so that dessert and drinks were served, unfortunately we had to point out a missing supplement which was then served promptly and hotly. Our demand for a bread supplement was affirmed, but also forgotten. The ambience of the restaurant is very beautiful and well maintained in my eyes. Three of us had dinner at La Riva last night. I liked the food very much. I can highly recommend the gorgonzola sauce and the beef steak was very well prepared. Unfortunately the service was not very good in my opinion. The restaurant was quite busy so the service staff were quite busy. In my opinion, the service charged as a result. Here the question arises whether this problem could be solved with two or three employees in the service. "Our evening on 30.07.2021 was perfect! A great atmosphere in the lovingly designed old Eversburg railway station, very friendly, competent staff and an exceptionally creative menu especially for fish lovers, but also for meat eaters and vegetarians. A very good praise for the kitchen, as the dishes served are perfect and star-shaped. The beverage card also leaves no desire for open wines, aperetifs and soft drinks. We like to come back and enjoy the tides and the great ambience it is a special experience! Thanks to the entire tidal team for a wonderful evening! Susanne, Christine, Ansgar Peter"
