"For price, I still do much of my shopping at ALDI for staple items but for convenience, great sales, meat or certain products I do pop into this Hy-Vee frequently. Periodically they have some fantastic coupons in the weekly ads although they are going more and more paperless all the time. I stopped in to get a few things and a loaf of Rotella 's bread for 88 cents (because really, you can 't pass that up). They 've added more self check lanes since my last review so I used one but I wasn 't sure how to scan/use the coupon. The young guy manning the self check was super helpful above and beyond. He didn 't make me feel like a nuisance, just a customer with a question. And now I will know for next time! I wish I would have gotten his name, he did a great job providing the helpful smile in every aisle ."

"Not my favorite texture on the ice cream/sorbet (not bad by any means), but the flavors were very prominent and tasty:I had blueberry basil sorbet, brown butter pecan, and lemon bar. While Id order any of the three again, the brown butter pecan was a standout for me!"

"Staff are racists. We waited an hour for food to go. When we got home we realized we paid $30 for three orders of Naan. When we called to see if there was a misunderstanding we were asked if we were Indian. When we said no we were hung up on. We called back after we were hung up on and they didn't pick up. Reported to CC company for fraud"
