"I do not appreciate the lack of menu choices and the cook is not willing to meet the needs of its guest AT ALL. We made our reservation 3 months in advance. At this time I took note of my food allergies/aversions. 1. No paprika, 2. No shellfish. With three months warning, I felt like the cook could have arranged an alternative for me. But no, three of the eight courses came with raw and/or damped shellfish. Instead of offering me an alternative protein, subtractions were simply made from my dishes. When I paid the full price, I found it unacceptable. The soya dish was blazing, but the food was otherwise fantastic. My partner enjoyed his mussels. The service is excellent and her sommelier was a pleasure. We won't come back here."

"I'm working my way through the menu because I was blown away by the first two times I came (first time, I had the scrambled eggs. Second time, the kale with persimmon seasonal salad). I then ordered the GLK burger (at the Diamond location) and was totally underwhelmed. The burger size was small and not very tasty. The last time I ordered the Cali plate with tuna. It was good but meh. I could get similar quality in many other places and for less . So, all in all, it started off with a bang and has since fizzled a bit."

"Beautiful presentations with a bountiful mix of beef, fish, octopus, and pork with two desserts to end the meal. The cocktails are masterfully made. One is refreshing with another that has a kick of spiciness. The ambiance is a bit casual with the open kitchen layout. You can see how your food is prep. The smokey smell from the bbq pit gives the food much more flavor. The service is prompt and always available. I would wholeheartedly recommend it for those special nights or if you want to dine by yourself."

"Pizza service at a fine dining price. It was Friday date night and it took the receptionist 10 min to even get to me. I explained that my husband was parking the car we were not a group of 6 teenagers). She then declared that I could not sit at the table until ‘my party was complete’. So I sat the 7 min looking at the table that she ultimately sat us at when my husband arrived. I guess that as a 60 year woman, I just look like a liar. The waitress did not take our order for another 15 min. The food was fine I loved my tomato entree $17) and my husband thought the salad was so so. All in all we could hardly wait to get out of there."
