"This restaurant is well located within the center of Nyon, near all shops and major attractions. Staff is very friendly and the food is excellent. We had a Coquelet rôti (roasted cockerel) and it was excellent with a delicious sauce and home-made fries. Would come back without hesitation!"

"Absolutely wonderful hotel, lovely clean and comfortable with the most amazing staff. We happened to find this hotel last minute due to my husband booking a hotel on the French boarder on the wrong date. The hotel we booked was extremely unhelp and so I needed to locate somewhere to stay fast. We had travelled from UK leeds area and so it was late close to 9pm. We found hotel le Rive in Nyon and was lucky enough to get a room My husband brought our belongings up from car and we were so hungry Unfortunately by this time the kitchen was closing but the wonderful manager made us the most amazing burgers washed down with the best Rosè. Everything was perfect. We went off to bed had a comfortable sleep with stunning views across the lake. Waking up was bliss. I could have stayed in that room and never left. Sat out on the balcony looking at the lake and mountains was the highlight of my holiday and it was all by chance. Breakfast was wonderful we sat on the terrace looking across the lake watching the little birds sit at the tables hoping for crumbs. I also left a bag of medicines in my room which they posted to me just going above and beyond Will hopefully return one day soon so we can explore the area as we headed to Zermatt after Nyon and after discussing with the manager we found valuable information out which helped us on our travels. Thank you for a wonder stay Le Rive"

"I regularly passed the restaurant which is close to my home and I always told myself I should try it out and now I wish I had tried sooner. The restaurant was busy but that didn’t detract from the service or the quality of the food. It is not haute cuisine that is served up but good simple dishes with a bias towards traditional Swiss cuisine. Not 5* but for quality and atmosphere I thought it ticked all the right boxes."

"Restaurant and pasture in the highs of basins. charming owners and good service. offers pasta: fondue, cheese crust, cottage macaroni and gogo raclette on Thursday evening. very low prices and good portions. I'll give you the cheese crusts. the terrace is pleasant and in the middle of the paturages. only open during the hot season. possibility of eating even in the middle of the afternoon."
